Another incredible divine moment today that I feel I must share.  As I am going through some medical challenges these past week, I, family and church family (Thank you St Mark!) and friends have been praying. During today's service at St. Mark Orthodox Greek Church in Boca Raton, FL, the church hosted guest speaker Mr. Dan Christopoulos from OCMC(Orthodox Christian Mission Center) as part of the beginning of our 40 days of Lent. While the speaker was explaining their mission he recited an incident he encountered while in Kenya, Africa. ((Forgive me as I  will give a short version of the story) " A man sick with cancer asked to be baptized". Mr. Christopoulos went to where the man was and asked him why he wanted to be baptized. The man said " I know I am old and dying, my wife is Orthodox and talks about Jesus. I want to meet Jesus when I die". Mr. Christopoulos  thought "that is a good enough reason for me" and proceeded with the baptism. When finished, and through translators he asked the newly baptized man how he felt. The man replied :I feel something very strange,  I know I am old but when you put the water on my and the oil on my head  I felt something in my heart, I feel like a baby being born again!I felt like  a new life".

My jaw dropped, I could not believe the words I just heard.  You see, back in February 2014, while I was waiting to start chemo (the first of many to come), during my morning prayers, as I was weeping, all of a sudden this overwhelming feeling came over me. With amazement I loudly exclaimed" Oh! God thank you, I feel like a baby, like a baby being born again! like a newborn baby!" To make that moment even more incredible was that it was my birthday that day. A fact that I didn't even connect to until someone mentioned it to me days later and of course that was another of God's timings since it was a moment that I needed to be reminded of it and connect to it. AMAZING GRACE!!!!!!!!!!AND SO FOR TODAY ...Thank you Lord for reminded me again who do I belong to, thank you for your perfect timing and your mercy I am once again incredibly grateful for all you do for us every moment of every day!GLORY TO FATHER AND THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!
